Issues with your veins and arteries in your legs need to be checked by a doctor. One such condition is atherosclerosis - a vascular condition that may show up in the legs but can affect anywhere in the body. Your doctor may discuss options such as exercise, diet and medication, compression stockings or the possibility of surgery to reduce the risk of blood clots forming and improve your health.
Compression stockings in combination with other treatments may help prevent blood clots which may lead to a heart attack or stroke.

Note: These are only examples of reasons to wear this level of compression. Please consult with your physician if you require more assistance.
